More Anatomy of a Space Chicken
A while back I posted about finally figuring out what goes on inside of a space chicken. I decided to do a few more drawings in that way, building from the inside out, and I really love how dynamic the poses are compared to the "draw a triangle and you're done" way I used to do it.
When I first drew SC I had no intention of making him animated, so he was just a flat little doodle in pencil on my Chemistry class desk. (I got in trouble for it, too.) Now that he has a life of his own, I'm slowly figuring out all the aspects of him. I think getting this anatomy stuff and building him with real 3D shapes will take things to whole new levels. Maybe not in the FtM cartoons, but who knows? Perhaps one day SC will take the spotlight of his very own set of animations.
Now I'm off to pack for my trip to Canada to see Andreas Deja. I'm very excited. I'm trying to figure out what to wear...
Doubt I'll be able to update the blog from the road, so see you all next Tuesday for the big E3 celebration!

Pretty nice. Would love to see this turned into a Space Chicken animation cycle or two!
